Hi again,
A quick post to show some recent happenings and accomplishments.
For a church project, Emilee decided to build a scale model of the Salt Lake temple out of clay. Despite her determined efforts, she finally had to admit that she was in over her head. She took my advice and switched to wood. Here is a photo of her mostly completed model. (Yes, I did help her a fair bit)
Grace asked if I would build her a marble slide out of blocks. The marbles 'roll' down the steps into a bucket. Even though she is older, she still enjoys some 'kid' things.
Winter has arrived in Anchorage. We have about 2 feet of snow on the ground, and temperatures have already dipped well below zero. Today is Thanksgiving, and we mostly relaxed. Tomorrow, we will go out and enjoy our winter wonderland.
